Six characters

国, 一, 木, and 中 are the checked characters. 年 is the first character in Gallery order, among late expand, with 4 to 8 strokes. 出 is the first such character in other. A tie keeps Gallery order.

Stroke 1 and the finished character

The table gives stroke 1 and the finished character for 国, 一, 木, and 中. Width, height, and the two areas are hundredths. The two shares are thousandths of that character’s own final measure.

Click a plate to replay. With reduced motion the finished character stays still. A light rectangle is the axis-aligned box of the samples drawn so far. It appears with the first stroke and grows when a later stroke extends the box. The rectangle uses the stored corner coordinates, each rounded to a hundredth.
