王 · the vertical is s2 in the main file and s4 in VtLst.

Gold strokes sit at a different index in the other file. The cinnabar stroke is the first index where the two sequences disagree. A cinnabar border marks the variant file. Click a plate to replay. With reduced motion the finished character stays still, and the colors stay.

Counts by suffix

What the token means

The glosses follow KanjiVG’s variant page where that page describes the suffix. Where it does not, the sentence is what these jōyō files do. A file can carry more than one token: KaishoVtLst is counted under both. LeFst, MdLst, NoDot, and a bare Hz, Vt, Le, or Ri are on that page and on no jōyō character in this snapshot.

Every extra file

One row per extra file of a jōyō character. “First” is the first stroke index where the variant is not the same stroke as the main file. “Moved” is how many matched strokes sit at a different index. A blank first column means every matched stroke kept its index.
