The script tools/rule_audit.py reads every jōyō file on the Gallery list. Paths are sampled to polylines. Stroke order is the -sN order. Component groups keep kvg:element, kvg:position, and kvg:part. A character is in scope when the configuration that rule talks about is present in the file. It follows when the writing order matches the check below. It breaks when the order goes the other way. Where the geometry does not decide, the character is marked undecided by this check, and it is not counted as a breaker. A character that simply lacks the configuration is out of scope. Lists of 60 or fewer are shown in full. Longer lists give four animated samples, ordered by the Gallery frequency rank, and the rest in a collapsible list.
